Tà Xùa (2,865m) is a mountain with three peaks located in Bản Công commune, Trạm Tấu, Yên Bái. Many people mistakenly confuse Tà Xùa mountain with the Tà Xùa range in Sơn La. The trail up Tà Xùa is quite steep, but once you overcome the slopes, you’ll enter a mystical primeval forest. Here, you’ll find ancient, massive trees covered in moss, winding vines in shades of dark green and light green, and a carpet of golden leaves covering the ground like a soft rug. If you're lucky, you might come across red azalea flowers blooming along the path, along with the white bodhi flowers that exude a delicate, earthy fragrance. Tà Xùa is also famous for its Turtle Head Rock—a popular spot for photos that everyone hopes to capture for memories. Particularly memorable is the trail leading to the overnight shelter, which features the "dinosaur spine"—a narrow, precarious ridge surrounded by mountains and forests, marking the mountain’s signature feature. Walking along this "dinosaur spine," many people describe it as a challenge where you must cling to the ridge with both hands and feet, surrounded by nothing but the vast mountains and sky. It’s truly an exhilarating experience that fills you with a sense of excitement and awe. Once you’ve conquered all the challenges and reach the summit of the mountain, you’ll be rewarded with a full feast of clouds and a panoramic view in all directions.
